addendum:i was under the impression that this had been stored away in my attic for 30+ years. come to find out my dad bought it at a garage sale 2 days ago.
I'm pretty sure that is a gun used to shoot the x-wing fighters. It is found on the death star in star wars IV. You might want to check with other starwars nerds since its been a few years since i have seen those movies.
