spaghetti squash oh my gosh




this is my very favorite meal lately. fancy salad with crazins, walnuts, and avocados- featuring the very delicious, nutritious, and non fictitious spaghetti squash. i also have been experimenting with biscuits and rolls. turns out crescent rolls have to rise for a SUPER long time. they ended up being a bed time snack. i should have read the recipe all the way through before starting. every time i got to the next step they had to rise for another hour. also- i have been under the impression that wax paper and parchment paper are essentially the same thing... but apparently wax paper smokes a lot when you bake it. is that normal?
here are the crescent rolls after a smokey kitchen, after a wax paper fiasco, and a long time after dinner. they were pretty good despite the wait.

Looks yummy....yeah, wax paper is NOT parchment paper...remind me when you're home...I've got a box of 1000 sheets (minus about 27) of parchment paper around here someplace!

They look so SO good! You are now an expert! Take your mom (you know, the other one) on her offer of parchment. It's fabulous to have around and saves messy cookie sheets. And has the benefit of not smoking OR imparting a thin layer of wax onto food items. :)

i have a spaghetti squash on my counter for dinner tomorrow night. so there. maybe i'll even make rolls. but mom is right, wax and parchment are different. do not bake on wax. and the salad looks yummy. i roasted veggies tonight and made bbq beef sandwiches. Oh, and we got lawn today. so fun.

I also have been SO obsessed with spaghetti squash lately! L-O-V-E it! I pretty much make it every couple days. Delicious!

I love salads like your salad and I love LOVE spaghetti squash. I think it is my favorite food. Or at least very nearly my favorite food.
